The Lord's Prayer - part 7

Never let anyone tell you God won't listen
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.  Matthew 6:9-13
 
 
Help us not be led into temptation - paraphrased by Janie
God does not lead us into temptation, our desires do that.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be 
tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, 
when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. James 1:13-14
 
 
 We all know what the things are that temps us, they come from - 
 Greed - Dissatisfaction - Fear
 
 
 
Give me the strength to resist evil - paraphrased by Janie
 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.  James 4:17 
Sometimes we give in to our desires for stuff and find ourselves caught 
in a trap, that's when we need pray deliver us from evil
 ~
 
God has A Plan for my Life!
