The Lord's Prayer - part 1

After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this
day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.  Matthew 6:9-13

We are told to pray this way out of respect. . . .
He is not confined to heaven.  But He is above ALL things!

And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. Joshua 2:11

He has gone before us to prepare our home.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  John 14:2

He is also all around us! Part of the air we breathe.

Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.  Jeremiah 23:24
