My newest project!

  That tree is about 20 ft from the fence. That big post is about 5 ft tall.  They said they were going to kill the berries and burn them.  That is a beautiful pecan tree. Makes a good squirrel feeder. :o)  If they burn it it will kill the tree. so I'm going to clean all the berries by hand. The patch of Green grass is on my side about 8 ft wide.  When you look out my front door that is there.  I kinda feel bad taking them out, I have about 100 birds living there.

Week one.

~ Jay standing by the tree is almost 6 ft tall. This was taken early in the morning. We made a trail, 5 ft wide, to the tree.

Week three.

~ This picture does not really show the cleanup!  so I added an extra one for week three. ~ ~ There is a place here that uses wood to make electricity so they will take the yard cleanup. So we have hauled off 3 pickup loads of compacted blackberries. ~ Week five ~ ~ First half done now a picture of the other side. you can see the same tree. ~    ~~~ We finished!  We even got the neighbors cows. If you notice the neighbors lightpost is in about the same place in all pictures. We got done faster than I thought possible. it only took 3 months. ~ The neighbor didn't even remember the loading shoot. So far the cows are eating all the new berry shoots coming up.
