Always Blessed
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall
say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice,
and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted
they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:11-12
Rephrased: You
will be picked on and falsely accused, because you love God, know you will
be blessed anyway, even if not in this life, but being picked on for believing
is God is nothing new.
When someone says - church is for women and children
- what they are saying is - only women and children have strength to trust
in God.
Any dead fish can float down stream it takes a live
one to swim up stream.
When people say what, you too good for us. Oh a goody-two-shoes.
We take it as an insult when we should take it as a compliment. They
noticed we are different.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy
nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him
who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 1

If we were on trial for serving God, could they find enough evidence
to convict us?
