Meek is not Weak
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5

Rephrased: If we have quiet strength, we will get more of what we want.
 
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4
 
It takes a great strength to: 
  • not fight back
  • not blame others
  • not have to be right
  • not defend ourselves
  • not have to have the last word

It also takes a great strength to: 
  • be humble
  • put on a smile
  • not react in anger
  • trust God, not just say we do
  • take responsibility for our actions

Sounds like Meekness could be Self Control
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
