Salvation is a gift! Jesus gave himelf freely for an atonement (He Paid the debt) for our sin. So as a gift, it is ours too keep. That is why it
is the helmet. To protect our minds from worrying about losing our
salvation! The only way to get rid of salvation is to discard it,
it will not be taken away. We don't give a gift and ask for it back.
in a court of law if you can prove it was a gift you get to keep it.
