Words we Speak
Do they build up or tear down?

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.  Psalm 19:14
Not only our words, but even our thoughts.
Do we count our blessings?

If we would stop before we complain about anything and count our blessings we would have less to complain about.
Or challenge ourselves: Every time we complain we have to give equal time to counting our blessings.
Sometimes we speak thoughts and don't recognize they are complaints.
If they are not uplifting words, they are tearing down (complaints.)

We don't have to teach a child to get
angry, it comes naturally.
We have to teach them to be good.

We don't have to practice
complaining, it comes naturally.
We have to practice counting our
blessings!

Even David had to remind himself to praise God.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Psalm 103:2
