Going in Circles?
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth
in his way. Psalm 37:23
If it seems like we are going
in circles, we are. Think about it. All races are in a circle.
You do so many laps then the finish. Who says we have to be going someplace?
We can be used right where
we are!
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud
of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before
us, Hebrews 12:1
When Peter saw Jesus walking on the water he was
so excited he wanted to join Him.
But when Peter took his eyes off Jesus and saw the
circumstances and began to sink.
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship,
he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind
boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord,
save me. Matthew 14:29-30
To fall or swim?

When we get the idea we should be going someplace
other than where we are, we step out and make a mess, or wreck. But
when we call out, God will reach down and pick us up.
