The 7-Ups
It's our job to put on a good attitude!
 
 
1. Wake Up - Decide to have a good day.
 
This is the day which the Lord hath  made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalms 118:24
 
 2. Dress Up - God has supplied our armor, we have to put it on. 
 
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

 
3. Hush Up - Learn to listen. 
God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking.  Sometimes we have to be very still to hear the voice of God.
And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 1 Kings 19:12

 
4. Cheer Up - Put on a smile.
 
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. Proverbs 15:13

 
5. Look Up - To the Lord.
 
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.  Psalm 5:3

 
6. Reach Up - A dead fish floats, but a live one is always swimming.
 
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

 
7. Lift Up - Our head and Heart - sacrifice means we didn't feel like it.
 
And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. Psalm 27:6
