Life or Destruction
 
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate,  and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  Matthew 7:13-14
 
1 - a narrow channel of the sea joining two larger bodies of water
or
2 - bad or difficult situation or state of affairs

Think of the channel as our life,
with bad or difficult situations on either side.
One body of water our birth, the other Heaven or hell (our death.)
A big ship needs help to get through the narrow opening.
They use tug boats.
 
Tug boats of life include -
Prayer, Bible Reading, Church, Christian Fellowship, and Thankfulness
 
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12
 
Jesus is our Lighthouse!
Keep our eyes on Him and we'll be safe.
