Lord Change ME!

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.  Philippians 4:11

We are in a situation we don't like.  Instead of praying Lord get me out, we need to start praying, "Lord change me into part of Your plan."

We may just find the spot we are in  is not as bad as we thought.

The promise is:
 

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

So if we believe that, then we are the ones who need to conform!  If we rebel it may take longer for God to get His purpose across, and us to see the good.

If we have problems with someone, instead of praying God change them, we need to pray God change me.  It has amazing results!  As we begin to change, everybody around us changes too.

We have to be willing to change for God to work through us!

We cannot ask God to change someone else, we can only ask that for ourselves.
