The Egg, The Carrot, or The Coffee Bean?
They are all good!
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Genesis 50:20
When placed in boiling water (bad circumstances) what do we become?

The egg was fragile before the situation (boiling water) it was placed in.
Afterwards it was solid and had a much different purpose.
~
Before it was an addition to other foods to make them better.
Cakes, cookies, custards, mostly sweet things.
After it is still mostly used as an addition but can be eaten alone.
But after it is mostly used in salty places.
(Wonder if it is because of the tears)
Both still very useful, just different.
~
Don't let enemy steal our purpose because we are not what we once were!
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Ecclesiastes 9:10

The carrot was hard and strong before the situation (boiling water) it was placed in.
Afterwards it was soft and pliable and had a much different purpose.
~
Some would say the change is bad, but depends on the need.
Sometimes God needs us pliable to fill the purpose he has for us.
Once in boiling water it can no longer stand alone.
But it is still good!
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.  Isaiah 64:8
A song says make me and mold me after thy will, we cannot be molded if we are hard.

The coffee beans were hard before the situation (boiling water) they were placed in.
Afterwards they changed the situation instead of letting the situation change them.
~
Before the situation they were not good for much, oh some like them chocolate covered.
But after the situation they are more valuable than before.
If we trust God in every situation, we have the ability, if not to change things,
but to praise the Lord anyway.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.  Philippians 4:11
