- We like being around happy people.
- How we bend over backwards to help a happy person.
- It takes determination to rejoice.
- If we look hard enough we can always find something to rejoice about.
Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
- Prayer does not have to be long or on our knees.
- If we see a pretty flower tell God.
- Just talk to Him like we would anybody else.
- God likes being talked to.
- Talking to God becomes like breathing, something that is just a part of us.
Prayer is not always asking for something. But
we need the special time just us and God. Like a couple needs time together,
but the rest of the time they don't forget each other. Since God
can hear our thoughts, He will answer if we listen.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
- It might not be what we think we wanted, but if we wait we will see it is perfect for us.
It is so much easier to do things for someone who is appreciative, happy, and content with what they get. That is our choice. (Oh no! My job again!)
