In His Likeness

We are the Apple of His eye . . . His child

As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: Deuteronomy 32:11

(the words that end in 'th' give the meaning of continuing to happen)

Just imagine the comparison! If God instilled within parents the desire to protect their young, how much more does He desire to protect His Children!

But we say: I'd rather do it myself... or I can do that...

Oh, not often in words! We would not dream of excluding Him! We love Him!

But as children exclude their parents so do we exclude our God.

And the BIG ONE! This is so small why bother Him with it!

So what we would like from our children... Give the same to God!

Conversation (even the can I have's, He then knows you know He's there)

Thank you's (notice the blessings)

A Hug & A Smile (if you have done it unto the least, you have done it unto ME.)

Can you imagine how pleased God would be if you stopped and said here is a hug God!

Companionship (the thoughts and meditations of our heart, don't let life crowd out God)

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalms 91:1
