Open Mind, Open Heart, Open Doors
 
God ALWAYS answers prayers.
It just might not be in the way we expect.
We need to pray "Lord do your will in my life"
 
Open Mind - Allow God to do it His way 

We usually tell God what we want and how we want it done.

But we don't give our children poison just because they ask,
we know it would be harmful to them.
Same with God, He knows if it will be harmful to us.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  John 14:13

A man who won the lottery turned from a kind loving family man to a lonely bitter man because the money destroyed his life.

 
 
Open Heart - Accept God's answer 

When Jesus was in the Garden crying out to God,
even He said Your will be done. 

If we focus on the giver not the gift,
we will realize we did get what we asked for,
maybe not in the form we expected.
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.  Luke 22:42
 
 
Open Doors - We will see Doors we never knew existed 

We have all had prayers not answered that became our greatest gift.

But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.  Genesis 50:20
The devil tries to convince us God doesn't care
