Sower of the Seed Part 3
And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying,
Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds
fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell
upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung
up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they
were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And
some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold,
some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Matthew

Sometimes the thorns that choke out God's word is
our busy life.
We get so busy with life we forget God.
Sometimes we have to make time for God.
One very good reason for going to church. A
Date with God.

Even if we have a beautiful garden, weeds can choke
it out.
Almost nothing will grow under a patch of berry
vines.
A tree with good roots will!
So if we find we are in a berry patch -
Start cutting vines one at a time.
If we try the easy way, spray or burn them, it will
take much longer for the good stuff to grow back.
Read our Bible - it is a two-edged sword.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

We are in Good hands with Jesus!

After a plant is grown it still needs to be tended.
Planting seeds or tending them is the same action.
We are planting seeds, tending, or preparing the
ground.
