Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud
of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before
us, Hebrews 12:1
When we can't do the pruning sometimes
God has to do it for us.
Like: we hear the voice of God saying turn here.
We don't, then have a flat tire to keep us
out of an accident.
Sometimes it feels like this!
It hurts us until we know the truth.
And sometimes we never know, we just have to trust!
When we don't obey that still small voice,
usually something happens to get our attention.
Our biggest sin is most often not obeying that
still small voice.
This is how it really is!
And Jesus says, "No we can't just get rid of my people
let me try again."
He spake also this parable; A certain man
had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon,
and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold,
these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none:
cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him,
Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung
it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt
cut it down. Luke 13:6-9
