Wish or Dream?

Wish - to want; desire; long for
Wishing is wanting something given to us without putting forth any effort.
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.  2 Thessalonians 3:10
An old saying, "wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which fills up faster. "
We can tell a person who wishes, they say I can't,
and for every suggestion they get they find an excuse why not.

Dream - an aspiration; goal; aim
A Dream is a wish we have put legs on.
The things we want may start as a wish,
but will never become a dream until we start working toward it.
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18
Maybe that is why so many people have trouble serving God, it is free.
We don't deserve God's grace and we can't earn God's forgiveness.

But we still have to do the hard part.
We have to humble ourselves enough to accept the gift of God's love.
When we mess up we have to say I'm Sorry.
We have to believe even when we can't see.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  Romans 10:9
