Life is Like a Building
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus
Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building
fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom
ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:20-22
We can't be the whole thing, we can only be one small part.
Maybe a nail, or a piece of tile, or the paint on the wall.
A shingle on the roof, a window, a door, or a doorknob.
But without our part the building would not be complete!
We need to remind ourselves that we are only a part,
We are used as material by the Master Builder.
He puts us in the place He needs us to fill. |

For every house is builded by some man; but he that
built all things is God. Hebrews 3:4
Let your light so shine before men, that they may
see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew
5:16
God only asks us to brighten our corner,
Not the whole world.
We all have a different corner to light up.
