Count our Blessings. . . Not Our Wants!

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Luke 12:15

Strange, but our nature is to get what we don't have!

Or because someone else has it we want it.

We have to think about the things we have...

While the things we don't have jump up and down to be noticed!

OR

We see someone else getting to do what we wanted to.

We sometimes say "Where's Mine?"

or

"When is my Turn?"

If we have been planted in a garden,      

We should not want to hold someone else in our corner.

But instead -

Encourage other people to fulfill their own calling.

But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.  1 Corinthians 12:31 (Love, Joy, and Peace)
