Appearances are often Deceiving

Choosing a king:  Samuel the prophet had chosen the oldest son of Jesse because he looked the part.  But God had chosen David the youngest of the sons of Jesse.  He was small and a sheepherder, the lowest of occupations.

But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.  1 Samuel 16:7

We are often think one thing when we don't know what God is doing.
He may allow us to go down one path so He can get to on a different path.
~
It is not our place to judge others,
God says, "You worry about you and let Me worry about the others."

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:  Luke 6:37

We don't know what is in another persons heart
or how God is dealing with them.

Our job is to show God's Love.

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Jeremiah 31:3
There is plenty of people pointing out the rules.
If we point people to God He can deal with the other stuff.

The saying fits here: You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
