Small Things

And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:  For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. Mark 12:42-44

It is not always the big things that count the most!
A word of encouragement, could be more important to a person than any thing else.
So often it is the unseen things that matter the most.

The man is raking. The handle is long. The plastic rake part is wide.
But none can do their job without the little screw that holds it all together.

Or...

How about a chain. If we are not in our place the chain is no good.
In our corner of the world we have a job to do.
We might be the link that is not seen, no matter still important.

We don't all have the same job!  But they all have the same importance.
The big jobs cannot get done without the little ones.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:28
