HE leadeth me beside the still waters Psalm 23:2

He doesn't send me, He doesn't drag me, He doesn't drive me,
He leads me.

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight:
I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:  Isaiah 45:2

We have to stay close enough to the shepherd to hear His voice.

Sheep will drink out of a mud puddle if the shepherd does not lead them to good water.
But, God gave us the knowledge of right and wrong.
Sheep will not drink rushing water or in the midst of confusion.
Do we stop long enough to get a drink?  Or are we too busy going and doing?
Sheep get most of their water from the dew on the early morning grass.
Quiet time with God.

To Drink is
"take in"  "to accept"  "to believe"
So what are we drinking?

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.  Psalms 19:14
