Look Forward

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

When driving a car the windshield is big, the rearview mirror is small.

That makes it easy to look where we are going.

We have to look back on purpose.

We cannot look back and forward at the same time.

Maybe looking forward is the wrong word, maybe more like see where we are going.

Some people spend so much time looking back they miss the things around them.

Then some look so hard at the road they miss the beauty around them.

We need to be able to see back, to remember the good things God has done.

We need to remember where we came from, all the promises already fulfilled.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7

Look around to see the great things God is doing now. Sometimes it seems all is wrong, but keep looking we'll see good.
