If our house (life) is built on our own abilities,
or things we can do, It will crumble and fall.
But the amazing thing is, if we ask God to help,
He will pick it up and put it on a solid rock.
Then we have to keep the house in good repair
so it won't rot out around the edges.
Paint (Prayer) to protect our walls.
Roof repair (Bible reading) to protect our
house from leaks.
This is very important because it keeps our mind
(roof)
stayed on God.
We can't expect that just because our house is
on a rock
we have no more responsibilities.
What kind of material are supplying?
What does our mind think on? What do we listen
to?
Do we look at what might be or anchor our house
to the Rock?
