It is Our Choice!

Nobody can make us, we choose.

Unless we are forcibly made to do something, it's our choice. God never expects us to be a doormat.

And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: Deuteronomy 28:13

We may feel like there is no choice, but that usually means we are not willing to make the choice, so that becomes our choice.
~ If we are asked to do something We can say yes or no. ~ We go through the long list of why we can't say no, so we make the choice to say yes.

If we say yes when we want to say no, that becomes our choice. We can no longer say that we had to, we chose the decision.
Fear will make our choices, if we don't choose.

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Isaiah 41:13

Also when we say "That is their choice," we refuse to accept the guilt for someone else's situation. And we quit trying to fix what they don't want us to fix anyway.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Ephesians 6:10
