Healing - My Way or God's Way?
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes,
the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD,
that he might be glorified. Isaiah 61:3
God can and does heal!
But it's not always the way we think it should be.
Do we spend so much time telling God how it should
be done
that we miss what He has planned?
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of
his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you
worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness,
and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God
and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
He promised!
My grace is sufficient for thee!
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my
strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather
glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians
12:9
