We are made up these 3 parts
Soul ~ Mind ~ Body

The devil uses these 3 to trip us
Fear ~ Dissatisfaction ~ Greed
 
 
Notice Mind and dissatisfaction are in the middle - they are the controllers.
Fear, not going through the mind could be real, like being startled.
Greed, not going through the mind might be true need, like replace a bad tire.
 
Apostle Paul said: But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:3
 
 
If the enemy can make us think his thoughts, then he can trip us into fear 
and greed, all he has to do is make us dissatisfied.
 
That's why we need to protect our thoughts.
 
 
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Philippians 4:8
 
It takes a made up mind not to be Dissatisfied!
Happiness comes from within us,
not by the 'things' we have, or don't have
