It's Not Always What it Looks Like!

But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Genesis 50:20

  • Joseph  was cast in the pit by his brothers, they were jealous of him.
  • Joseph was just living his life quietly.
  • He was very close to God, God even gave him visions.
  • He was excited to share what God had showed him, but his brothers misunderstood.
  • The Egyptian traders bought him and took him to Egypt.

God can make Good out of the Worst Things!

From slave to ruler
  • He was even falsely accused of having an affair with the rulers wife and thrown into prison for 3 years.
  • Joseph ended up saving his entire nation.
  • He had the choice spend his days complaining about how unfair life was or make the best of it!

Do We find Ourselves in a pit of Unfairness?

  • So if we find ourselves in a pit of unfairness.
  • Sickness, family problems, money problems, abuse, or any other we can think of, we have the same choice.
  • Just like Joseph, God can take that situation and turn it into a good thing!

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:  Philippians 1:6
God never starts something He doesn't finish!
