God Sees Our Tears
And when he had removed him, (Saul) he raised up unto them
David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said,
I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which
shall fulfil all my will. Acts 13:22
Even David the man God called a man after my own heart, had
great struggles.
When David wrote the Psalms he asked Where is God?
My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually
say unto me, Where is thy God? Psalm 42:3
He then said "You know all the places I've been and
wrote about,
You saw my tears and gathered them for your bottle."
No tears are unnoticed.
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle:
are they not in thy book? Psalm 56:8
David had to come to the place that he trusted
God's will in his life.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my
God; in him will I trust. Psalm 91:2
Finally David said, "No matter how many tears are
shed as long as we are carrying the seed, we will reap Joy."
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth
and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:5-6
Since God has no respect of persons, He loves us
as much as He loved David, so we can claim David's promises.
