What If? . . . What If Not?
Most of us run with fear.
What if that happens?
What if it doesn't?
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD:
and he delighteth in his way. Psalms 37:23
Do we really believe our steps are ordered by God?
We have to practice trusting God that the 'what if' is in His control.
What if we don't get that job?
But what if we do?
What if our car breaks down?
But what if it doesn't?
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God
in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Then we need to trust that this way is part of God's plan.
Now the give thanks is a bit hard sometimes!
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down:
for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. Psalms 37:24
It might seem like we are down, but not for long!
