Through the Fire
Nothing is good without struggle or growth.
That's the way God created life.
Everything has to grow or be purified by heat.
Nothing just is.
And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy
dross, and take away all thy tin: Isaiah 1:25
It's hard to trust God will take us and use us as
part of a big plan.
Maybe one tiny piece of glass in a stained glass
window.
Thou hast caused (allowed) men to ride over our heads; we went
through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy
place. Psalm 66:12
We spend time grumbling about what we walk through.
We miss the plan!
Hmm... Wonder if a tree complains about where it
is planted?
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;
and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest
through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle
upon thee. Isaiah 43:2
Even when it seems there is no hope left.
The secret we have to learn is - through...
Keep going, keep plugging along, don't stop.
From the line in the movie Castaway, his job
was to keep breathing.

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
