We are the Branches
Jesus said:
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me,
and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can
do nothing. John 15:5
-
The vine does not produce fruit,
the branches produce fruit.
-
But the branches cannot live without
the vine.
-
When Jesus dwells in us, our core
becomes the vine.
-
Our deeds and actions are the branches.
-
What kind of fruit are we producing?
It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring
forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly
vine. Ezekiel 17:8
-
Water is representation of the Spirit
of God.
-
The life is in the vine.
-
We have to make sure our core (The
Vine)
-
Stays close to the water source
(The Spirit of God)
Jesus said:
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. John 15:1
Sometimes we are directed into places
that will prune away the deadwood from our branches. To be good producers,
branches need pruned. While the Vine grows stronger and bigger.
