God Is! Or at least He wants to be. |
| A simple friend has never seen
us cry.
God has shoulders soggy from our tears. |
| A simple friend hates it when we
call after they have gone to bed.
God asks why we took so long to call. |
| A simple friend asks to how we
are.
God could blackmail us, but loves us instead. |
| A simple friend thinks the friendship
is over when we have an argument.
God knows the thoughts and intents of our heart. |
| A simple friend expects us to always
be there for them.
God will always be there for us! |
