Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8

A Roaring Lion
(this card has no proof, purely my opinion, from observing house cats)
A roaring lion is only looking for either already dead or dying prey.
He waits for other things to do the killing.  Then claims the victory.
The tools he uses (on this page) are doubt, discouragement, disappointment.
If he is roaring then he knows his prey is almost dead
and wants to finish them off by scaring them to death.
If a cat want to kill or capture it's prey, they lay in wait and hide to catch it.
Then pounce on it unexpected.
He doesn't allow the circumstances of life to injure and kill
before he claims the prey.
Our job is to be strong, so we are not easy prey!

Replace doubt with determination.
We have to be determined that we will trust God.
God said it, I believe it, that settles it!

Replace discouragement with decision
We decide to look beyond what we see.
All things will work out, no matter how it looks!

Replace disappointment with dedication
We are dedicated to serving God no matter what.
I have determined I've made up my mind, I'll serve the Lord!

If we hear the roar, run into God and be safe!
