What do we see?

Elijah Said:
And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. 1 Kings 19:14
God Said:
Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him. 1 Kings 19:18

We hear the bad news every day, how the teens are all turning to violence, how life is going downhill fast, crimes and drugs are increasing.

Elijah said the same thing, and God reminded him of all the prophets who still had not bowed to Baal.

So look around, of course violence is out there, but out of 100 teens we know how many are been in serious trouble?

Do we see like this?
Out of 100 of our friends, how many are deadbeats?

Or do we see like this?

So is it really as bad as the media wants us to believe, or it that a weapon of the enemy to make us fearful?  To undermine our faith?

So from where I am it looks like still less than 2% of the people are bad. So why do we look at the 2% instead of the 98%

In a high school of  500 graduates, was there 400 dropouts? if not then good is still stronger than bad!

A challenge: spend 2 days, every time someone mentions a bad, counteract it with a good.

For instance:  If someone mentions violence in schools, mention how many graduates came out of that school.  Or how many drunk drivers there are mention the fact of how many people have never had a ticket for anything.

If there was 500 car accidents in a month, how many cars were on the road?

We Love God, no question, but do we see His blessings?

Look for the good!

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
